If anyone is interested. I should, in the somewhat near future, have my latest book finished. It will cover a great many things but will primarily be about the inherent Alchemical scheme of the original Order of the G.D. This will likewise apply to the later Order of the A.O., but less so to the derivative orders such as the S.M., etc
The original Order of the G.D. followed specific Alchemical formulae relating to metallic transmutation, and the achievement of the Stone of the Sages.
The text will include a number of direct translations from Occult and R.C. source materials, and will link many parts of the R.R. et A.C. system together.
This part of the system goes far beyond what most folks have been led to believe, and begins to tie the Alchemical paradigm to the Grade Rituals, as well as the Sound, Colour, Sphere and Enochian teachings. This part of the system has not been revealed before and is a MAJOR part of the R.R. et A.C. paradigm.
I have to take bit of a respite on the book due to my old eyeballs and poor vision causing me headaches, but I should have it reasonably finished within 1-3 months. It will include some very interesting source materials that most English readers are unfamiliar with.

I'm trying to footnote and illustrate it in such a manner that folks can understand it. If nothing else, it will be unique, in a Golden Dawn sense. But I think, once people examine some of the source materials, etc, it will be difficult to argue against the general gist of it.

ReplyDeleteFrater, I am still heavily immersed in plant spagiric work and haven't yet ventured into the territory of metal alchemy. Do you suppose it will be simple enough to relate the subject matter, as well as the way it is presented, to plant alchemy and how that reflects into our rites and traditions?
ReplyDeleteI believe it will be understandable but may require a slight reorientation. The method of working with plants is different than metals but it is how the RR et AC adapted the metallic paradigm that is important. I do not believe the Order intended that a person actually engage in the physical work with metals, although that could be done. But they applied the paradigm in absolutely brilliant ways.
