If, such a candidate is therefore discovered, then he may take a hand-held vow, that he will conceal that, which you will entrust to him, when he accepts this, then the ordinary proposition can be made and stated: that he make no misconceptions like those who imagine that Wealth is equal to Greatness, but should rather believe and know that in this type of Brotherhood one must first learn to walk the infallible Path of Virtue, withstand Severe trials, and bring the teaching by their own Industry into Practical experience. If the Candidate is still willing to Enter (or Stand up), then the Directories together with the Generalate are notified of both the Candidate’s Status and Name, these are also sent to such Cabalists that an Emblem or Coat of Arms can be fashioned. So shall this proceed henceforth, except in a peculiar case of need, such as for example: If a well-to-do Candidate or Br. meets with violence on the road, or in other such dealings and circumstances it would be 2c. 2c. is that which applies when he who is no longer able to attend, and before his Name and Status are posted, and the procedure involving the newly-Drawn Name together with the Emblem (or Coat of Arms) is repeated, when he is truly able to be accepted and received.
